About Us

We fix things. That’s it.

Fix That Works is a tech troubleshooting blog with one simple promise — every fix on this site actually works.

We started this site out of frustration. Too many troubleshooting guides are vague, outdated, or written by people who never actually hit the problem themselves. You search for an error message, land on a page full of generic advice, and leave more confused than when you arrived.

That’s not good enough.

How we work

Every article on Fix That Works starts with a real problem — something we actually encountered while working with AI tools, open source software, or everyday tech. We keep notes: the exact error message, the system specs, what failed, what worked. Then we write it up in plain language so you can follow the same steps and get the same result.

Articles marked with a ✓ Verified Fix badge are based on direct, first-hand experience. We hit the problem, we solved it, we documented it.

What we cover

Our priority niche is open source AI tools — Ollama, ComfyUI, AutoGen, LangChain, LocalAI — because these tools are powerful, growing fast, and have almost no good troubleshooting resources yet. We also cover Windows and Linux fixes, GPU and CUDA issues, VPN and network problems, and general tech troubleshooting.

Who we write for

Fix That Works is written for anyone who just wants the problem solved. You don’t need to be a developer. You don’t need to understand why the fix works — just that it does.

We also specifically write for users in countries where Reddit is blocked — Indonesia, China, Turkey, Bangladesh, Vietnam — where finding community-sourced tech fixes is harder than it should be. Fix That Works gives you the same solutions, without the access problem.
